Avoiding Sea Sickness
April 9, 2008
Colds, disease, what can I do to keep my family from getting sick on a cruise.
Sea sickness is not common in many cruises these days as the ships are well structured that the passengers would not notice the swaying movement.
But still, if you should be afraid of sea sickness, you can consult your doctor well in advance before your board the cruise.
You can also carry some antibiotics to save yourself from cold and flu. Bonine, Dramamine and Dramamine II are the common drugs which can be used for sea sickness.
These drugs are available with all drug store and can be purchased easily. Besides all these, the cruise itself would have a team of physicians who would be readily available at your service.
Residing in an outside cabin would also help as you would not feel suffocated and the fresh air would revive you. Avoiding your vacation during hurricane season would also save you from getting sea sickness.
